Playing is a serious business.

“We believe in play as a transformative agent in society, and we need more creativity to solve the world’s problems," he adds.

Why Lego's CEO Thinks More Grown-Ups Should Play At Work

"Play is not considered a serious activity because it happens in an implicit way, but if you play, you learn in a deeper way. The problem is that some people can view it as a little bit self-indulgent and believe learning should be dull and boring.”

Mental-Physical Balance

My goal for this academic year is not a work-life balance but a mental-physical balance.

Start the day with Yoga and End the day with Thesis.

Academic Year 2015-2016

Hopefully my last academic year for masters studies.

I should jump back to my thesis writing now.

But then as the school year starts, also come all these distractions.

This is like, repeating history.

But I should know better now!

Let's do this and graduate.

On another note, I finally have oath taking tickets!!

30th Anniversary of Alyansang Tapat sa Lasallista

The political organization that I was affiliated with when I was in college (and even up until now) just celebrated it's 30th anniversary.

Words cannot express how this organization changed my life and how I gained friends and acquaintances.

It feels surreal.

Surrounded by 30 generations of salmons. It's just crazy.

We are called salmons because salmons swim against the current and we are known to never fear to face the odds because it is in our darkest when we become the strongest.

I really love this org... It's more than just an organization for me. I love what I do now, every single day feels great but I would give anything to re-live college days again.

My new appointment.

I have been appointed to head one of the specialty division of my professional organization. Amongst the ones with doctorate titles, I am the only head who hasn't even finished Masters yet and not even sure if planning to pursue PHD right after. 😁 But I do have an RPm at the end of my name already! Soon, MA...

Too excited for this!

Freedom attracts Talent

"Netflix does not concentrate on the amount of time spent on a task or project, but more importantly focuses on results. This culture is especially appealing for the high-performing employees that give the company its competitive advantage. She explains that top talent thrives on creativity and personal autonomy, and is more likely to leave if they lose either creative or autonomous freedom."
