Freelance, Home-based and Online Jobs

Follow the passion route.

No person in this world, who knows me very well (or even first impression), will deny that I'm a talkative person. I always have something to say and I always have something to think about, which is why I have resorted to my outlet and that is through writing.

I've always loved to write, ever since I was in elementary. Albeit my handwriting really sucks, I'm a fast typist. I type so fast sometimes that my hand types faster than I can speak. And it's the reason why I have been blogging and have had a lot of blogs in this lifetime.

I have recently joined two sites where I can look for remote jobs and have been mostly looking into those who need some writing content. I have always wanted to do freelance and online jobs. I remember in college, I was already looking for a job opportunity to practice and enhance my writing skills. I also remember that the job opportunity I found was writing "academic" articles. Turns out, these articles are homework of students and these students "order" these homeworks online. And we are the "academic writers" SHEESH.

lol. I never got to pursue the gig, however. But the owner of the business became a friend of mine. He eventually stopped his online business and built a preschool.

The two websites I found that can provide remote work opportunities for Filipinos are:

OnlineJobs.Ph isn't updated anymore as most job opportunities are in 2010. I like the platform of Outsourcely better, aside from onlinejobs.ph asking so many information before you can create a profile!

I then shared the Outsourcely to my scholars because I know they're all looking for part-time and home-based jobs, considering we have a 4-month vacation before school year begins (academic calendar shift).

I also mentioned it to them that we have an advantage since we are students of De La Salle University. Apparently, in the "Beginner's Guide to Outsourcing to the Philippines" article, our University was highly commendable.

Just hoping the employers read that guide!!

In Outsourcely, I am actually a featured Job Seeker.

Yep! No. 1 in the employee list under Communication & Writing.

And for OnlineJobs.Ph, here's my profile badge!

Follow the Passion route.

I have been so happy recently because after many years, things are finally falling into the right track.

Both E-learning & Writing are my passion.

Love what you do and you will never have to work in your life.

On a side note, I recently had a job interview (another potential playground) which requires my creative talent. I remember asking them about their work space.

I told them that I had to ask that question because it matters. If they want creative output, you have to let the mind play. The work environment should be consistent and supportive if you want creative output from creative people like us. =)

Turns out, they're getting me. But I'm not going to spoil it here yet. I've been thinking about blogging about it. But I want to keep it a secret from the public for now. ;)
